Caple appliances in Bristol

Caple was created in Bristol in 1990 by the distributor Maurice Lay, originally as an in-house appliance brand, and has grown into one of the larger British kitchen names. The head office is still in the city, over at Avonmouth.

What makes it unusual is the spread. Very few brands cover appliances, sinks and taps, and kitchen furniture, but Caple does all three. It means the oven, the hood, the sink and the tap can be specified together and genuinely match, rather than being close enough and hoping nobody looks. The wine cabinets are a particular strength, in sizes from a single undercounter unit up to a full-height cabinet.

You will not find Caple in a supermarket or on a price comparison site. They sell through kitchen retailers and studios only, so the buying is done through people who fit the things for a living. That means fewer places to shop around, and better odds that what turns up fits the space you have.
