About Zip
Zip started in Sydney in 1947 making instant boiling water units for offices and canteens, and spent the next fifty years refining them. The HydroTap brought the idea into the home: one tap that pours filtered boiling, chilled and sparkling water, with a safety lock on the lever so nobody pours boiling water by accident.
Every HydroTap runs off an under-sink unit with a filter that takes chlorine, sediment and other contaminants out of the water, and a sleep mode that cuts the standby cost when the kitchen is empty. The current generation can be specified with ordinary hot and cold as well, so it replaces the kettle, the filter jug and the mixer in one go.
We supply and install the full HydroTap range with the matching under-sink unit and filter, and can look after the filter changes afterwards.
