Candy appliances in Bristol

Italian design at everyday prices

Candy built the first Italian washing machine in 1945 and laundry is still its speciality. Compact, slim and full-size machines with quick programmes, plus dishwashers, fridge freezers and built-in cooking, at prices that suit a rental or a first home.

About Candy

Eden Fumagalli’s workshop in Monza built the Modello 50 in 1945, the first washing machine made in Italy, and Candy grew from there into one of Europe’s biggest laundry manufacturers. It bought the European Hoover business in 1995 and has been part of Haier since 2019.
The current ranges lean on quick, sensible programmes and the hOn app: Smart Pro and RapidO washing machines, washer dryers, heat pump dryers, Brava dishwashers, and fridge freezers in the slimmer widths that older kitchens need. Built-in ovens, hobs and hoods complete a kitchen without stretching the budget.
We supply a lot of Candy to landlords and letting agents. It is well priced, easy to source and simple to replace like for like.
