Miro appliances in Bristol

Extraction, and nothing else

A Lancashire company that does one thing: kitchen extraction. Cooker hoods and venting hobs, chosen for how quietly they run as much as for how much air they shift.

About Miro

Set up in 2018 to supply extraction, Miro has stayed with it. The catalogue is hoods, in chimney, island, ceiling, integrated and canopy forms, along with venting induction hobs that pull steam down through the middle of the hob rather than up to a canopy. Miro is also the UK supplier for Frecan, a hood maker based in Barcelona.

Noise is the thing they push hardest, and it is the right thing to push. A quiet motor is fitted across the range, which counts for more than people expect in an open-plan kitchen where the extractor runs through the whole of cooking. Stock is held in the UK, so lead times are usually short.

If you want every appliance in the kitchen carrying one badge, Miro will not cover it, because they make nothing else. If extraction is the part you actually care about, it is a good place to look. We can talk through ducting and recirculation before anything is ordered.
